WANTED: Communications intern summer 2015

The Armenian Assembly of America, Inc. is currently seeking an unpaid intern in the communications department of our Washington, DC office for June 1 – July 31, 2015.

Duties include writing copy for the AAANews Blog, conducting research assignments, and attending Congressional hearings and think-tank discussions related to Armenian American issues. The ideal candidate will be studying or have experience in journalism, traditional or social media, video/photo editing, American politics, or international affairs. A strong English language proficiency is required. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, possess outstanding written and verbal communications skills, and demonstrate an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced team environment.
