Armenian Assembly Bids Farewell to DCM Andranik Hovhannisyan

On Friday, August 29th, friends and colleagues of Andranik Hovhannisyan, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Armenian Embassy in Washington, DC attended a private farewell reception in his honor. Local religious leaders and representatives from various Armenian American organizations were on hand to send Hovhannisyan off. Hovhannisyan will return to Armenia to join Foreign Minister Eduard Nalbandian’s staff as a senior adviser.


“It’s been a pleasure getting to know Andranik and working with him these last few years,” stated Assembly Executive Director Bryan Ardouny. “We wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors,” Ardouny said.
